Nestled into the property's backyard, making use of a previously unused part of the section, the owner’s dream to create the ultimate area for play and relaxation has been bought to life with this perfectly-sized plunge pool and surrounding landscape.

Our client wanted to transform their back area from an unused space to a liveable entertaining area. They wanted to achieve a design that was not only functional but scaled perfectly within the environment, ensuring a perfect balance between pool size and decking for entertaining and lounging, whilst also leaving enough green space to fulfil their dream of having a golf putting green built alongside it.

Due to the pool site being right up the back of the section on a very steep and sloping section, access to the site was extremely difficult. This meant that excavation was challenging and everything had to be carried in by hand, adding time and complexity to the build.

Additionally, the client’s property sits on a natural geothermal bore which they wanted to use for heating with the addition of a heat exchanger – there were some challenges with this which we needed to overcome, however the final heating outcome has been hugely successful, allowing them to enjoy year-round swimming.
