Custom-crafted Mayfair Pool
Hidden deep in a Hilltop orchard garden is perhaps the cutest wee plunge pool we’ve had the pleasure of building. This darling garden oasis was awarded the People’s Choice Award at the 2023 Mayfair Pools Pool of the Year Awards.
Designed for cooling off on a sunny Taupo day, or warming up after a chilly day on the slopes, this 3m x 3m plunge pool might actually be the perfect size pool for the extremes of Taupo’s weather. Designed with bench seating and entry steps that still allows for plenty of room for a plunge, this tiny pool isn’t short on personalised features.
Perfecting the bench seating height was a science in itself - with a test run of cocktails in hand to ensure the seat was deep enough for the torso to be half submerged, but not too far so as not to be able to reach for another sip! This wee sanctuary is truly an entertainer’s dream.
Our client was after a very particular colour which was custom created by our expert fibreglass composites team. In keeping with our locality, we named the colour ‘Pumice’.
Terrrazzo Veneto dropdown coping in Grigio and decking surrounds complete the very natural poolscape for a sanctuary that nestles beautifully into it’s surrounds.
