Custom-crafted Mayfair Pool
Awarded Highly Commended at the 2022 SPASA New Zealand Awards of Excellence, this perfectly sized 5m x 3m plunge pool has become a sanctuary for its owners.
The client wanted a natural looking pool that felt like it had been there forever – almost as if you had stumbled upon it in nature. With the addition of boulders, planting, stones and bark – along with timber and paving surrounds – we were able to achieve a seamless design.
We were also able to ensure that we retained plenty of lawn space for their grandchildren to still enjoy backyard cricket and outdoor games.
With the addition of the Naked Freshwater chlorination system, the client is able to enjoy swimming in beautiful fresh water, mimicking its stunning setting on the edge of Lake Taupo.

The pool from Mayfair is superb. It is good-looking, but also unusually strong due to the poured concrete base and the solid timber, composite and fibreglass construction which is custom built for the site and highly quake resistant. The filtration system too is magic. It is something we had never heard of until it was recommended by Regan, but we love it. With the NKD1 Fresh Water System we have delightful fresh water to swim in - virtually salt-free, chlorine-free and troublefree. The cost may be more than "dropping a shell into a hole", but we are more than happy with the value for money spent. We love it, and it is something we can be proud of and enjoy for many years to come. We would have no hesitation in recommending Mayfair pools to anyone.”
